I first met Gauri, as my cousin’s pretty girlfriend, whom I ran into on the street.while they were still in medical college. Over the years, our meetings were few and far between, whenever they visited India. But each time we met, I was struck by how updated Gauri was on all our lives and what we had been upto and just like that we would pick up the conversation and chat. Even in a busy room full of people, Gauri would make sure she made her way to each person and made sure she connected in meaningful ways, sharing details of her own life and listening to developments in ours. I always thought of her as living life to the fullest, impacting many lives and always making room for more. She lives on in Tanvi and Rhea.
