Gauri was special – sweet, loving, and tough as nails. She had a manic schedule and loved it, juggling work, home, workouts, gardening, connecting with friends, and bringing up two strong, beautiful daughters. She was family – not just to us but to her patients as well. She loved her work, and it showed. Her involvement went beyond treatments and medication; she had practical advice on the smallest details… the ideal bed height for someone with a bad knee, or what kind of buttons would work best on a gown for her ailing grandmother. I don’t know whether people fall ill in the place where she is now, but if they do, Gauri will find a way to help.
