Varadhachary Family

Anita Ying

I remember when I first met Gauri at MD Anderson. My first thought when I heard the wisdom, empathy, and intelligence in her voice was, “I want to grow up and be like her.” I had the privilege of working side by side with her on many initiatives to make our clinical operations better for patients and employees. Gauri was always there to offer feedback and support, and make you think of all sides. She had great clarity of what was important to her (Tanvi, Riya, and Atul), and was driven by the purest spirit. She was the epitome of a servant leader, colleague, and friend. It’s hard to believe she isn’t just a text or phone call away, but I know so many of us are so much better having had Gauri in our lives.

Deepest condolences to Atul and the girls.
