Gauri was such a beautiful human. She was a powerful force, someone who made a big difference in this world, especially young woman in medicine like me. I looked up to her. A few years ago I asked her advice about feeling burnt out and depressed. I told her I had a dream to travel the world. She says, Jen, leave. And go for as long as you possibly can. I left a couple months later for a nine month trip with my husband. It’s the best thing I have ever done, it honestly saved my life. I have her to thank. I’m sure all of you know all of these things about her, but I want to fill her family and friends heart with all of the good things about her from all over the world because her family deserves it.
