I am saddened to hear this news. As a young ICU nurse several years ago, I remember very positive, caring interactions between Dr. Varadhachary and her patients, her patients’ families, and multidisciplinary staff, RNs and MDs alike. As it was many years ago I interacted with her, clearly her compassion was so memorable that I could not forget. My deepest condolences to her family; know that she was very much appreciated by and touch the lives of so many people.
