Gauri and I worked together on many projects and I have always thought of her as both a colleague and a friend. As an investigator she was intelligent and inquisitive. As a physician she was everyone’s definition of a great doctor, but I think of her really as simply a great person. Always glad to see you, always willing to help. I think of her often, and wish she was still with us.
